Adventure/Festival Tents

Camping at a music festival this year? You’re going to need a great tent to help you stand out from the crowd.

Here at Winfields Outdoors, we have a great range of cool tents for festivals that can help you get a good night’s sleep and feel refreshed for a busy day’s dancing and partying.  And even if you don’t plan on actually doing much sleeping, you’re still going to need a place to store your things.

We have cheap festival tents from some of the biggest names in the camping industry, such as Vango and Kampa, available in various sizes, including 2-person, 3-person and 4-person. We also have festival tents featuring quirky and funky designs and bright colours so you can pick yours out amongst a sea of others. Whilst your here, you can check out our other great festival camping gear. If you want something bigger, then you can also browse our tents for large groups.

We know that many festival-goers don’t actually bring their tents back with them, preferring not to bother packing them up. Whilst we wouldn’t recommend this, our prices are so good that it wouldn’t cost a fortune to simply buy a new festival tent next year.

What is the Best Tent For Festivals

If you are looking for the best festival tent, you will have different needs to a family camping tent, for example. For a festival, you might need to carry your supplies quite far, so you don’t want it to weigh you down. A lightweight tent that comes with a carry case or can easily fit in your backpack is ideal.

Once you get there, you also won’t want to waste time you could be having fun on pitching an overly complicated tent! You will want it to be relatively compact and quick and easy to pitch, but still with enough room for getting dressed in the morning. If you like more privacy, sleeping compartments are good as a separate bedroom too, as is a porch for those who stay up later.

It’s also worth setting a budget - you don’t want to buy an expensive festival tent just for the rowdy lot next to you to fall into!

What Makes a Good Festival Camping Tent

There are a few things to look out for when buying a festival camping tent to make sure you have the best time possible. While we know you don’t want to be a party pooper, nothing dampens spirits like returning to a soggy or badly designed tent, whether your putting your head down early or staying up all night.

Here are a few things to look out for to find a good festival camping tent:

  • Waterproof - nothing could be more important for rainy English summers!
  • Black out fabric - good for a lie in when you have sore head
  • Bright guylines - helps stop people tripping over your tent
  • Internal pockets - you don’t want to be rummaging in your backpack for all your essentials
  • Sewn in groundsheet - easy way to keep yourself dry from wet grass
  • Mesh door and ventilation - keep comfortable and condensation-free
